It takes a few minutes. We'll reply within one business day — please don't ship anything until we approve your request.

We'll send your label and updates here.

Canada Post may need it for the label.

Getting it to us
How will the device reach us?
Return address

The prepaid label is made out from this address, and we ship the device back here. It must be a Canada Post address — if your street isn't served, use your PO Box.

Start typing and pick your address from the list, or type it in full.

Passcode (optional)

Optional. It lets us test the repair. We encrypt it before we save it, only RevyTech staff can view it, and every view is logged. Never write it on anything in the box.

How do you unlock the device?
Send your request

Please don't ship anything yet. We review requests within one business day and email a prepaid label if it's a repair we can take on.

Questions

Mail-in questions, answered.

What does mail-in repair cost?

Diagnostics are $55, waived if you approve the repair. After the diagnostic we send you a quote, and nothing is repaired until you approve it. Return shipping by Canada Post is added to your final invoice. If you'd like a faster return service, ask us and we'll bill it accordingly.

Is it different for a water-damaged device?

Yes. Water-damaged devices get a liquid-damage treatment instead of the $55 diagnostic: $100 for phones, $150 for laptops. The treatment adds at least 24 hours to the repair: ultrasonic cleaning, a bath in 99% isopropyl alcohol, then drying overnight.

What if you can't fix it?

Board-level work is no repair, no fee: if we can't fix it, you pay nothing. On mail-in repairs, shipping costs still apply.

How does my device get to you?

Once we approve your request, we email you a prepaid Canada Post label. Prefer to ship it yourself? Send it by Canada Post to our PO box, or by courier to the shop (couriers can't deliver to a PO box). By Canada Post: RevyTech, PO Box 219, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0. By courier: RevyTech, 001-103 2nd St E, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0. Please wait until we approve your request before you ship it. Include a note with your name and request reference.

Should I send the charger?

Only send the charger with a PC laptop. For MacBooks and phones, send just the device.

Can I ship a device with a swollen battery?

A device with a swollen battery can be shipped: pack it well and send it by ground only, never by air.

How long does it take?

Typical repairs take 1–2 days. Board-level work, water damage and severe damage take 1–4 weeks, depending on severity and parts availability. Shipping time each way depends on the carrier and where you are.

Why do you review requests before I ship?

So you only ship a device we can help with. We check the model and the problem first, and tell you within one business day if it's a repair we can take on.

Do you need my passcode?

It's optional, but it lets us test the repair properly. If you share it on the form it's encrypted before we save it, only RevyTech staff can view it, and every view is logged. Never write it on paper in the box.

What warranty do mail-in repairs get?

The same as in the shop: 90-day warranty on every repair — longer on screens and batteries.

See the warranty terms

What if I decide not to repair it?

You pay the $55 diagnostic fee (or the liquid-damage treatment on a water-damaged device) and return shipping, and we send the device back to you with tracking.

Can I drop it off instead?

Yes. Our shop is at 103 2nd St E, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0. Mon–Sat 11 AM–5 PM · Sun closed (Pacific Time). From October 1 to November 30 we're closed Saturdays, and we may close some Mondays too — call ahead. Walk-ins welcome; booking online is fastest.

Ready when you are.

Send a request today. We reply within one business day, and approved requests get a prepaid Canada Post label by email.
