RevyTech Warranty Policy
1. Screen Replacements
- Lifetime Warranty
- RevyTech provides a lifetime warranty on screen replacements.
- You may upgrade to a higher-quality screen for up to one (1) year from the date of service by paying the price difference between what you originally paid and the current price of the new screen.
- Exclusions
- Physical damage (e.g., cracks, breaks), water damage (indicated by the device’s internal water indicators), drops, or misuse are not covered.
- RevyTech reserves the right to inspect the device and has the final say on whether a replacement will be provided.
- If the device is opened or repaired by another repair shop, this warranty is void.
- If you refuse to repair other damaged components that directly lead to screen failure—such as broken back glass, a bent frame, or a bloating battery—the screen warranty claim may be denied.
2. Battery Replacements
- Coverage Period
- Battery replacements are covered for one (1) year from the date of replacement.
- Scope of Coverage
- Covers manufacturing defects such as battery failure, bloating, or significant battery drain (70% or more in a single day), and related part issues.
- Exclusions
- Water damage, frame damage, misuse, or damage from using an incorrect charger.
- If the back glass is broken or the frame is bent, the warranty is voided.
3. Part Replacements
- Coverage Period
- Part replacements (e.g., cameras, charge ports, flex cables) are covered for ninety (90) days from the date of service.
- Scope of Coverage
- Covers manufacturing defects or issues directly related to the replaced part.
- Exclusions
- Damage due to water or physical impacts is not covered.
- Normal wear and tear on components like ports or camera lenses.
4. Refurbished Devices
- Grade “New” and Grade “A”
- Covered for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase.
- Grade “B”
- Covered for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
- Any replaced parts within the device are covered under their respective warranties as outlined above.
- Grade “C”
- Covered for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
- No Refunds
- All refurbished device sales are final. No refunds will be provided.
- Devices are backed by RevyTech’s warranty for issues covered within the relevant warranty periods and terms.
5. Hidden Damage
- Definition
- “Hidden damage” refers to damage or defects not discovered until after the repair process has been completed.
- During Repair Process
- If RevyTech discovers additional or hidden damage while repairing a device, we will inform the customer promptly of any additional costs or steps required to complete the repair.
- Post-Repair Discovery
- If RevyTech does not detect hidden damage during the initial repair, and the customer identifies the damage post-repair, RevyTech will provide its “bundle rate” for the additional repair if reported within fourteen (14) days from the date of the initial repair.
- If more than fourteen (14) days have passed, we will charge our full rate for the repair.
- Liability
- RevyTech is not responsible for hidden damage arising from factors outside our control.
- If a RevyTech technician accidentally damages a component during repair, we will make every effort to repair or replace the damaged component.
6. General Terms and Exclusions
- No Coverage for Additional Damage
- This warranty covers only the specific service or part replaced. Unrelated components or subsequent damage are not covered unless explicitly stated.
- Unauthorized Repairs
- Opening or repairing your device through a service provider other than RevyTech voids this warranty.
- Inspection Rights
- RevyTech reserves the right to inspect any device to determine if it qualifies for coverage under this warranty.
- Final Sales
- Refurbished devices are sold as-is with respect to cosmetic condition. No refunds or exchanges, except as required by law.

- Assessment
- Our team will evaluate your claim to confirm whether the issue falls within the relevant warranty coverage.
- Repair/Replacement
- If your claim is approved, we will coordinate the repair or replacement of the device or part in accordance with the specific warranty terms.
8. Limitations of Liability
- No Other Warranties
- Except for the warranties explicitly stated, RevyTech disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Exclusion of Damages
- RevyTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use or performance of a device serviced or sold by RevyTech.
9. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection legislation.
10. Changes to This Warranty
RevyTech reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time. Any changes will apply to services and products purchased after the revised warranty is posted.
