Important things to know

Here are some important things to know when it comes to your repair.

1. Warranty, Refunds & Returns

  • RevyTech offers 90 day warranty for workmanship and parts
  • There are no refunds for repair work
  • Warranty does not cover
    • Physical damage (Cracks, lines on screen), even if it was only dropped from “X” height.
    • Water damage (including snow, sweat, rain, puddles)
    • Wear and tear
    • Abuse or faults due to hazardous environments
  • You can request an exchange or swap of screens, housings, charge port, for any reason if undamaged

For sales of cell phones, laptops and other electronics

  • All used and refurbished devices are sold AS IS
  • We offer a 14 day exchange or refund on certain graded devices (B/A)
  • We aim to be transparent on the condition of the device and thoroughly test before sale, however issues may arise after use of the device
  • For refurbished devices, we cover all parts replaced by us for 90 days

2. Repair times & shipping

RevyTech strives to offer quick turn around for your devices, and achieves this with 90% of our repairs. It is typical for repairs to take 1 hour to 1 week.

Other times, parts can take days and sometimes weeks to arrive depending on the rarity and availability of parts. Please understand that the transit times are out of our control and we want to get your device back to you as quick as you do.

For phones we place orders two times per week. Even though we pay for overnight shipping, we have a two day transit time for parts to reach us due to our location. Even so, the courier may deliver late day or there could be logistical issues (Closures, weather, etc) that could delay the deliver.

3. Apple "Important" Messages

After replacement of certain parts on specific models of iPhone, a message appears depending on which part was replaced

  • Important Display/Battery/Camera Message

Because each Apple screen is serialized to each device, this message will appear on any swapped screen, battery or camera – even if it has been swapped with a Genuine Apple part. This has a minor impact on your device usage.

For an additional fee, we can remove these messages during the process of repair. This helps with resale value and retains all features such as

  • Battery Health
  • TrueTone

1. Important Display Message: Please note that the Important Display Message can only be removed from devices that have the original screen intact. This message cannot be removed from devices with replaced or non-original screens.

2. iOS 14.4 Battery Health: For devices running iOS 14.4 or above, the battery health status may revert to a previous state after replacement. In such cases, you must return to the shop to have your device flashed to retain accurate battery health information. Please ensure that you back up your data before performing a reset.
